Scubaroots
Scubaroots is the remedy. The bands uplifting party vibes are guaranteed to warm you up on those cold winter nights and remind you that we do have a summer and it’s all going to be ok! The Scubaroots repertoire is defiantly more high grade than highbrow. With tales of debauched wreckage, saucy doctors, dodgy bankers, mary jane and dub star hotels... they play what they feel and feel what they play with their collective tongue firmly in cheek. Escape from planet earth, England, Shepherds Bush...Shepton Mallet...stop by @ Babylon Pharmacy....(now available on itunes, bandcamp and cdbaby for download!) The band have been rocking the festival circuit performing at events such as the Secret Garden Party, Shambala, Bristol Festival, Boomtown Fair, Small World, Endorse it in Dorset, Sunrise and many more winning over the crowds with their eclectic mix of soul tinged reggae, swing ska, electro funk dub and dnb.

United Vibrations
United Vibrations are charting new waters in the ocean of British Music. Inspired by a wealth of different sources, ranging from Drum ‘n’ Bass and Hip-Hop to rock and afro-beat. They are re-establishing the LIVE element to “Urban”, dance music in the UK whilst re-establishing the Afro-Rock connections seemingly forgotten in these parts. Inspired by the Rock and Funk pioneers of the 70’s they are forging a new direction for Live music coming out of London. As comfortable in a squat rave as in Ronnie Scotts, these guys are obliterating the established boundaries between, jazz, Rock and dance music, forming their own brand of hi-tempo dance music. They call their music 12tone A play on words, combining the already established terms of 2-tone (80’s fusion of Jamaican and British music to form ska), and 12-tone (type of a-tonal composition formed by Arnold Schoenberg).

This band is going where no other has gone before. It has found a way to deliver the intelligence of Jazz through the medium of the popular song, maintaining a rawness more akin to an old skool Hip-Hop track or Punk Rock anthem. UV have built up their following by regularly performing on the streets of London, gaining a reputation for turning pavements into parties!! This raw street energy is flowing through their music. A rare treat not to be missed!
