Where's my Bristle mag?

A number of people have been asking for Bristle magazine, issue 16, in shops etc. This is partly our fault as we had advised that it would be out in March. In fact our aim had been to produce the mag in time for the Bristle benefit in Bath on March 19th (which raised about £250), and for the anti-war March 20th actions.

Unfortunately issue 16 is not yet out, due in part to technical problems, and in part to the fact that new people involved in the Bristle publishing collective are, well, new to eachother! Issue 16 is now pretty much layed out, and will be zoning in on an appropriate printer soon. We hope to have it out by the end of the month.

Bristle is helping to host the Schnews meet in Bristol on April 11th , from 3 to 6pm at Easton Community Centre http://www.schnews.org.uk/extras/bristol.htm, where we will have an info stall, and a wall display of excerpts from Issue 16. Amongst other presentations, there will be discussion on the publication and nature of local alternative media.

The Bristle collective meets bi-weekly, next on Thursday 15th evening at the KebeleKP social centre (14 Robertson Rd, Easton, BS5), then on Sunday 25th evening at KebeleKP, and bi-weekly thereafter. Issue 16 wil feature on direct action, with other articles on Broadmead expansion, Blackwood, Iraq, GM resistance, Spider, and much more.
