![]() Carbon Reduction Motions at Thursday's AGM If you are a UWE student, we need YOU to vote for a sane climate policy at Frenchay THIS THURSDAY!! A group of UWE students is proposing a series of climate change motions at the student union AGM on Thursday that includes enhancing public transport, bicycle, and pedestrian access, banning patio heaters and preventing the SU from subsidizing short haul flights- this last motion in particular is coming up against stiff opposition, and we need as many UWE students as possible to be there this Thursday Nov. 29th 1-3pm at Frenchay 2D67 to vote for it! It’s going to be controversial, informative, and probably, pretty damned good ENTERTAINMENT, so if you are a UWE student..... be there and vote! |
