May 1968 - when workers and students united

7.30pm Wednesday 28th May

The political storm that broke out across the world 40 years ago affected every part of the globe.
A great mass rebellion of workers and students in France in May 1968 shook the ruling class.
This fused with the anger about the Vietnam war to create a social explosion.
It showed the power that people have to change the world.
As people in Britain are standing up to Brown over pay,
join us in looking at the lessons we can learn from the struggles of 1968.
