Join the Greatest Light Protest on Earth to show your support for Tibet.

Come along to Ashton Court to join our candlelight vigil for Tibet - part of the worldwide protest calling for freedom in Tibet!
8:00pm - meet at Bower Ashton entrance (UWE campus)
9:00pm - Candle for Tibet
9:30pm - Night Glow
One World, One Dream. Free Tibet!

Come along to Ashton Court on Thursday evening before the night glow and join Tibet Group Bristol and Amnesty International in their candlelight vigil for all the Tibetans who have suffered in the Chinese occupation of Tibet.

8:00pm - meet at UWE Bower Ashton campus
Kennel Lodge Road, Bower Ashton, Bristol BS3 2JT.

8:30pm - Tibetans living in Bristol and supporters have painted banners and are flying the Tibetan flag from the hillside overlooking the Balloon Fiesta.

9:00pm - Lighting of the Candles for Tibet!

9:30pm - Night Glow

The candlelight vigil is just the start of a series of events during the Beijing Olympics to highlight China's brutal occupation of Tibet and it's human rights abuses.
Look out for more actions on Tibet, such as our Mock Olympics planned for Saturday 16 August starting 1:00pm on College Green.
