So how much do we have to pay the relevant councillors to turn it down for good?
I'm serious. Nothing would highlight the corruption in this town like a public whip round to bribe a councillor to not build yuppy pod people apartments over (insert well known local beauty spot / venue / historic building here). We could buy our very own councillor, bidding against the usual developers etc so that we can have a PEOPLE'S sockpuppet, whose strings are pulled by ordinary Bristolians rather than the usual rich, old-school tie, funny handshake brigade.
So how do you buy a councillor? Donate money to their party? Buy them a nice "present"? I'm damn sure that voting don't work anymore!
