The Bristol Zombie Walk's facebook group thing says that their event is on the 25th October... But I've just got a text which says Saturday - like this article - I'm confused...
Are there two Bristol Zombie Walks? Has the first one changed date so as to coincide with the Cabot CIrcus opening? Can anyone help me out with some answers?
Firstly let me apologise for putting the first two paragraphs twice.
Today's evening post has kindly published a map of Cabot Circus, Quakers Friars and Part of Broadmead. Of the 234 units listed a total of 64 are marked as vacant. There is a cluster of 12 vacant stores just next to the (also empty) old Fopp store. Last time I checked these contained shops such as the leather shop, one pound shop and an independent outdoor equipment shop. Does this mean they are being ousted in favour of bijou boutiques? I will give them the benefit of the doubt and say no, I will still contact them to find out.
This still means that 52 units will be standing vacant, and to put this in to perspective, the ground floor of Cabot Circus has only 47 units.
A look at the Evening Post's continuing love affair with Cabot Circus:

Does anyone know how much us council tax payers have paid for building the Circus? How much will we have to pay to keep it running? Who is on the Bristol Alliance?
More information would be appreciated.
Did you also see the gushing article in the council paper on the development singing it's praises. Then at the bottom it says it has bought 23 local cost housing unit - 23!!!! from a £500 million development. Rubbish.
