Communique follows -

At the far end of the Bath Press building near Oldfield Park, threatened by plans for takeover by a new Tesco, a community art installation has appeared and wants your submissions. Doesn't matter if it's something you painted ages ago and don't want anymore, or even if you think you can't draw - everyone is imaginative and creative and capable of artistic expression, so get wheatpasting! :)

If you do get down there and add a piece of art, piccies can be annonomously e-mailed to Bath Bomb at bathbombpress@yahoo.co.uk

The building is also empty, and would make a pretty good squat, especially for exhibition/artspace etc. The building complex has offices and warehouse space, and we have a contact who is an ex-employee of the bath press (all workers got sacked last year to make way for Tesco) who is willing to give decent info on the best ways to get in/get around. Anyone interested in squatting the site can contact bath activist network on bathactivistnet@yahoo.co.uk, or pop down to lower bristol rd, bath and check it out yerself. Happy squatting/wheatpasting!
