BNP caught on camera, Bedminster 22 Nov 2008

Do you know these lowlife?

Just a few days after the entire BNP membership list was exposed, they're caught peddling their crap in East Street, Bedminster. They didn't stay for long.

The last few weeks have seen a resurgence of fascist activity on the streets of Bristol. Clearly, the bigots of the BNP have had a confidence boost from the current climate of division and racism brought about by the combined efforts of a hysterical right-wing media and government immigration policies.

Today, nine BNP activists (who bore no resemblance whatsoever to the 'master race') were spotted leafletting in East Street, Bedminster. Local anti-fascists quickly assembled to show them the way out and, with the help of some angry shoppers, soon had them scuttling off to the Asda car park where they made a hasty exit.

For all their front and attempts to put on a brave face, it soon became obvious that their confidence wasn't going to last and, at the first sign of trouble, they ran away.

This is a call to make sure that fascists never get a foothold in our communities. We've fought them off the street before and we'll do it again - in the words of the popular song "It's not acceptable in the 80's - it's not acceptable any more".

If you have any information about extreme right and fascist activity in Bristol, please send it to Bristol Antifa - http://bristolantifa.org/contact-us/ - or call 07593 501945.
