BNP caught on camera, Bedminster 22 Nov 2008

Do you know these lowlife?

Just a few days after the entire BNP membership list was exposed, they're caught peddling their crap in East Street, Bedminster. They didn't stay for long.

The last few weeks have seen a resurgence of fascist activity on the streets of Bristol. Clearly, the bigots of the BNP have had a confidence boost from the current climate of division and racism brought about by the combined efforts of a hysterical right-wing media and government immigration policies.

Today, nine BNP activists (who bore no resemblance whatsoever to the 'master race') were spotted leafletting in East Street, Bedminster. Local anti-fascists quickly assembled to show them the way out and, with the help of some angry shoppers, soon had them scuttling off to the Asda car park where they made a hasty exit.

For all their front and attempts to put on a brave face, it soon became obvious that their confidence wasn't going to last and, at the first sign of trouble, they ran away.

This is a call to make sure that fascists never get a foothold in our communities. We've fought them off the street before and we'll do it again - in the words of the popular song "It's not acceptable in the 80's - it's not acceptable any more".

If you have any information about extreme right and fascist activity in Bristol, please send it to Bristol Antifa - http://bristolantifa.org/contact-us/ - or call 07593 501945.

it's always useful to remind people, especially the working class, that groups like the BNP and other fascist organisations privately despise the working classes, as in their scheme of things the working classes have proven themselves the inferior class.

However, a slightly better breed of people here, but certainly not master race quality, but a bit more human looking that the 'sub humans' who make up groups like N9S (who previously 'stalked' the BIMC collective) and who all look like exactly the kind of untermensh that hitler would have had marched straight to the death camps.

I think a bunch of us should turn up next Saturday in case the fuckers come back. Don't want them getting cocky, do we? I will certainly check out what's happening.

I'm disgusted by this. Bedminster was flattened by Nazi bombs in WWII, there are still shrapnel marks on old monuments and buildings (the ones still standing), and general war damage all over the place (like the tramrail sticking out of the grass in Redcliff cathedral). And these fuckers are walking around here handing out leaflets? Sod that. Drive 'em back to their fuhrerbunker!

Picture 4 (fat face, goatee, glasses and a bald pate) is Mark Clutterbuck, Bristol regional organiser and possibly BNP Central (Staff) Management team.

At least half of those who appeared in Bedminster today appear to be part of a rent-a-mob doing the rounds - this photo was taken in Keynsham a few weeks back, and they also match the descriptions we've been given from our friends in Kingswood, Fishponds and Knowle.

I thought the BNP were Nazi thugs? I can't see any in these photos. We need to see more controversial stuff in future please. Did anyone get a copy of one of their racist leaflets? Lets post it for all to see.

well done to those who were quick enough to confront these boneheads.

I have access to to the so called membership lists if anyone fancies wading through 8,500 names in a data matching exercise ...

Good work exposing them.

Also an interesting article of the political fightback:

The town has always been fiercely independent, but "Morley pride is one thing, the BNP another", says the mayor, Terry Grayshon, whose Morley Borough Independents claim to have staved off a dramatic local coup by the far-right party. "People have been really balled-off by the three big political players," says his colleague Robert Finnigan, leader of the MBI's five-strong group on Leeds city council....Six months later, following the acquittal of BNP leader Nick Griffin on racism charges arising from an undercover BBC TV Panorama programme, anti-BNP leafleters were jostled and punched in Morley in an attempt to drive them out.

"[It] didn't go down well," says Grayshon. "People in Morley have learned a lot about what the BNP really is since then." Another of the three seats in Beverley's ward was successfully defended by the Independents the following May, with a majority of 500, and the third seat was defended by Independent Judith Elliott, with a majority of almost 1,000, this year.

We need resistance on the streets and in the ballot boxes. The mainstream parties have failed and the gap left is being filled by the BNP. I think when the Bristolian Party was active in South Bristol they managed to take lots of the potential angry votes who felt abandoned by Labour.

Make sure you always get a leaflet and complain to the ploice officailly if it is racist and inflammatory. And obviously challenge them personally.

I had a leaflett they were handing out ..all it said was about the 135,000 houses being built on green belt land around Bristol...to the detriment of our wildlife and the destuction of our countryside ..could not see anything wrong with that

author by outsiderpublication date Tue Nov 25, 2008 20:12Report this post to the editors

They certainly don't care about your green belt - they want to come in our area and stir up trouble. A few years ago they went to some towns up north and started race riots. There have also been terrorist and terrorist-like attacks on minorities (and everyone else) from the BNP and people inspired by the BNP. They are neo-nazis who have a pathological hatred of anyone different to them and they are very violent. Don't believe the bullshit - they just want to use you so they can get some power in the town hall (they're notorious for embezzling when they get there btw) and maybe beat up some black people and "reds".

Check this...

This is disturbing to say the least. In this latest attempt to screw money out of the members, BNP leader Griffin has this to say:

'Independent observers such as leading libertarian Dr. Sean Gabb are comparing the onslaught launched against us to the political witch hunts in the early days of the Soviet and Nazi regimes.'

This would be Dr. Sean Gabb who has some very peculiar ideas about child pornography, as is apparent from his article 'Reflections on the Gary Glitter Case', 14th November 1999, where, after concluding that he found it hard to see why there should be laws against possession of child pornography if the pictures are bought and paid for, he goes on to compare child sexual abuse with child labour:

'...it can be argued that it is less harmful for a child to be photographed in a warm studio over several hours than to be worked day after day in a factory with unguarded machinery all around.'

If you didn't quite get what he meant in that sentence, re-read it a few times until you do....eeewwwwww!

I have read your comments ..what source/link have you for saying they caused trouble/riots a few years ago..personally I am only glad that some one is out drawing attention to to the amount of building that's taking place on our green belt, .because you an get pretty p.i.ssed of if you live in one of the villages that's about to be devoured by the building of tens of thousands of house around you
