Bristol Demonstration Against Attacks On Gaza

category bristol | peace | event notice author Tuesday December 30, 2008 10:52author by info@bristolstopwar Report this post to the editors

Israeli air strikes against Gaza have resulted in hundreds killed and many more hundreds injured. Israel has pledged to continue the attacks and is threatening a ground offensive as well. Western Governments, including our own, have attempted to equate the launching of rockets from Gaza into Israel resulting in few deaths and injuries with this entirely disproportionate attack by Israel. Our government should condemn the Israeli attack, as well as Israel's ongoing breaches of international law in its treatment of Gaza and the Palestinians.

There will be a DEMONSTRATION on SATURDAY 3rd January. Meet on The Centre (opposite the Hippodrome) at 2pm

Also please support the daily protest vigils against the Israeli attacks.

The vigils take place on The Centre (opposite the Hippodrome) from 5pm to 6pm every weekday.

Please pass this information on to anyone you know who might support these protests.
