![]() Books Not Bombs Books not bombs - protest against Exeter uni's investment in the arms trade - Thursday 19 March, 12.30pm, meet outside Tremough library, Cornwall Campus in Penryn - bring banners, your friends or just yourself :) Recently several universities across the UK have been targeted by student-led campaigns aimed at divesting their university's shares in the arms trade. Many of them have been successful. Exeter uni have shares in Rolls-Royce, a leading arms manufacturer who make nuclear engines for Trident missile defence system, and in Smiths group, who have sold fighter jets to Israel.
