Police everywhere, justice no-where!

This is a call for an anti police brutality and state
repression demonstration at New Bridewell Police station, Bridewell Street
at 12 noon, on Saturday May 2nd.

Angry about the killing (and subsequent attempted cover up) of Ian Tomlinson by riot police at the G20 protests? Have you had enough of police harassment and violence on demos and on our streets? You're not alone! There is a clear need for a visible anti-authoritarian response to the thugs in uniform. Now is the time to show that the police violence in London
reflects the accelerating repression, surveillance and intimidation tactics used against social movements and anyone who steps out of line, doesn't 'fit in" or, as the footage shows, walks past a cop with his hands in his pockets. While the media will (at best) dutifully confine the "debate" to talk of public enquiries, "reviews" a few "bad apples" in the police etc and justice may even be seen to be done, it's up to us to take it further, to identify police abuses and state violence as systematic, not ocassional or confined to the Met, to expose the real enemies of freedom and to talk with people on the street about a world free from authority and control.
This also links well with Mayday, and the "Mayday every day" weekend of gigs in Bristol. Mayday; a commemoration of anarchists murdered by the state for organising and confronting the power of the bosses and capital, a celebration of our collective strength, an expression of working class solidarity, resistance and the fight for a free world. Well, as we saw on the streets of London, the struggle continues...
