Five people arrested in Plymouth and held for ten days under the terrorism act for possessing fireworks. 114 people arrested and their homes searched in the run-up to a climate protest, 1 man dead from internal bleeding and over 100 allegations of assaults being made against the police - is political protest now a crime?

And with all the media focus on the policing of the G20, what happened to the discussion about the issues the protests were there to highlight?

In the wake of the G20 and other protests, serious questions need to be asked about the right to protest and its implications for democracy in the UK. Join us for films, speakers and discussion.
