Celebrate the first anniversary of a more frequent and reliable service on the Severn Beach Line, campaigned for by FOSBR and funded by Bristol City Council.

Investment by BCC from May 2008 has resulted in a spectacular 40% passenger increase on the Severn Beach Railway Line.

Come CELEBRATE with FOSBR!

Where: Shirehampton Station, Bristol

When: Sunday 17th May 2009, 15:00-16:00

Eat the first birthday train cake, sing the train song, applaud the prize winner of the first FOSBR competition; take bundles of the new summer timetable and rejoice in the reintroduced Sunday service.

To reach the anniversary event by train take the 12:23 ex Temple Meads, arrives Shirehampton 14:44 or the 14:52 from Avonmouth. Celebrations end in time to catch the 15:55 to Temple Meads or 16:40 to Avonmouth.
