The Swamp of Far-Right Politics

For those thinking that a vote for the BNP in the upcoming local elections in Bristol or the South West MEP elections, that it is any sort of protest vote, all that is needed is a dip into the foetid waters of far-right politics to make you realise what the BNP are really like.

There is huge in-fighting going on in BNP politics and it seems that Nick Griffin, the leader of the fascist BNP really does live up to his nickname of 'fuhrer' as former collegues of his, including people who used to be in his personal protection squad, have broken ranks...

And it is a hateful litany of threats of violence, rape and false accusations of child abuse directed via a semi-independent blog, used to attack any who criticise the fuhrer.

It also makes you think; what if they did win an MEP seat or two? Could the public exposure back-fire and reveal the reality of the party and kill any future expansion hopes?
