On Wednesday 22nd July, more than 30 arms manufacturers will be exhibiting at the Shepard UV Europe conference at Newport's Celtic Manor. They include EDO MBM, manufacturer of bomb components based in Brighton and target of the long running Smash EDO campaign . Many of the exhibitors here will also go on to sell their wares at the world's biggest ams fair, DSEi, which will take place in London Docklands in September this year.

The products from these companies have been used against civilians in Gaza, Lebanon, Iraq and Afghanistan. So-called arms embargos have not prevented sales or arms to Israel and other repressive regimes, as long as the price is right. These companies are motivated entirely by profit.

It is not right that the investors and shareholders of these companies become rich from the death and suffering of others. Join us in demonstrating at the UV Europe conference at Newport's Celtic Manor from 9am Wednesday 22nd July.

Demo supported by Disarm Dsei; Smash EDO; Fitwatch; South Wales Anarchists
