This week's Freeskilling (www.justfortheloveofit.org) is called *Creative Writing - and how to get yourself published* and we are meeting at the Better Food Co. Cafe, St Werburghs @ 7pm Tues 3rd Nov

Join Simon Kent and learn how to do it, how to do it better and what to do with it when you've done it. Simon Kent has written journalism, books, poems, songs, speeches, stand-up comedy and scripts for film, TV and theatre. Come be inspired. Bring your own paper and pen!

Here are the rest of the Freeskilling evenings for 2009:

Crocheting edges and links!
10th Nov, The Better Food Company, Sevier St @ 7pm
Come and practise your crochet on some bits of knitting. You can use doubles and crab stitch to edge or join anything especially stretchy things. Please bring a crochet hook that you like using, but not too big (between 2-5mm) and a jumper you want to change into a cardigan, if you have one. I'll have some of my scrap yarn for people who don't have any. Beginners can learn the basics without having to do that difficult first row. Improvers can ask questions, learn and share techniques, or make a new universe entirely out of crochet, depending on your level.

Reflexology
17th Nov The Better Food Company, Sevier St @ 7pm
Time to relax, rebalance and and restore the spirit.Reflexology is a healing art that works with the bodies natural energies, by massaging and stimulating different points on the feet/hands to create a feeling of well-being and balance.Specific points on the feet/hands relate to the different organs and body parts, offering opportunities to treat a multitude of ailments through a very relaxing and non invasive massage. Come and experience the pleasures and learn some top tricks to good health.

Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga
24th Nov, The Better Food Company, Sevier St @ 7pm
Join Jonathan Hancock for a dynamic, physical style of Hatha Yoga, working with breath synchronised movement (Vinyasa). It cultivates strength, stamina, stability and flexibility.
Ideal for those with some degree of physical fitness, but not for those with any serious health problems. Beginners to yoga, welcome.

How to make Sourdough Bread
1st Dec, The Better Food Company, Sevier St @ 7pm
Richard will show you the very simple and fun stages involved in making a basic loaf of sourdough bread for you to take with you and bake at home. He will also supply each participant with a small batch of sourdough starter for you to bring with you after the course and hopefully maintain for years to come and pass on to your friends and family. Please bring: 1 bag of plain white flour plus 1 bag of any other flour you wish to use (spelt, wholemeal, whatever...), a handful of nuts or seeds or both and some fresh herbs if you wish, a bowl to keep the dough safe for your journey home and a large jam jar or similar for the sourdough starter.

Have a fantastic day, great to be sharing the planet with you all!

The night is FREE for everyone (as always) and all are welcome you don't have to be a member of the Freeconomy Community, but you should join anyway cos it's great :-D You can join at www.justfortheloveofit.org

So tell any friends you have who may be interested!

These nights are a great way to save money, make friends and learn cool new stuff! And its all for FREE!

Hope to see you there at some of them!
