Climate change vigil.....

On Friday 11th December I am taking part in a candle light vigil on College Green, between 5.00pm and 6.30pm.

The vigil is in response to a call by 350.org to mobilise people around the world in solidarity with those already affected by climate change and to demand a settlement which will return the atmospheric concentration of CO2 to 350 parts per million.

As politicians meet in Copenhagen I believe that this is a crucial moment to make the demand for action, clear and unequivocal, not least because of efforts to undermine the scientific consensus on this issue.
