Bristol CND's 'CHANCE OF A LIFETIME' COMPETITION SHOWCASE + PANEL DISCUSSION, 12:45 pm, Sat 17th Nov 2012

Bristol Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament presents the showcase and prize-giving event for its 2012 short film competition for young people.

"What does nuclear disarmament mean to you, to the world or for our future? Show us, in a film 30 to 120 seconds long." That was the challenge that Bristol CND put to young filmmakers across the UK. Join Aardman Animations’ David Sproxton, also part of the jury panel, to announce the winning films and be the first to see highlights from the contest on the big screen. Followed by a panel on the use of film in addressing social and political issues, with distinguished film making professionals Colin Thomas, Lee Cox and Chris Morris.

Saturday 17th Nov, 12:45 pm for 1:00 pm start

Watershed, 1 Canons Road, Harbourside,  Bristol, BS1 5TX
