National Demonstration - Stop Israel's War on Gaza - End the Siege Now

Israel has launched another war on Gaza. There have already been loud protests in Bristol. On Saturday 24th November there is a national demonstration in London. The demonstration assembles at Downing Street to tell David Cameron and the British government that the green light they have given to Israel is not in our name. It will then march to the Israeli embassy. Bristol Stop The War Coalition urges all supporters to attend if possible.

While the attack on Gaza continues, there are protests on the Centre (opposite the Hippodrome) on Monday to Friday evenings from 5pm till 6pm. Please join us if you can.

Gaza is one of the most densely populated places in the world, with 1.6 million people packed into a strip of land barely six miles wide. It is facing a barbaric onslaught by the world's fourth most powerful military power. Our government and media back Israel or, at best, pretend there is some equivalence between the two sides. There is no equivalence between occupied and occupier, prisoner and jailer. The attacks come at a time when Britain and the USA are edging towards direct intervention in Syria. Sanctions against Iran are accompanied by threats of military attack. Israel, the USA and Britain seem intent on spreading war and destruction throughout the Middle East.

Bristol Stop The War Coalition and Palestine Solidarity Campaign are organising coaches from Bristol to the the 'Stop Israel's War on Gaza' national demonstration in London on Saturday 24th November. Please join us if you can. The coaches from Bristol leave at 8.15am from Anchor Rd (opposite @Bristol).
