In Bristol Sunday 9th December

Bristol Public Meeting with Mousa Abu Maria

OCCUPATION, IMPRISONMENT & ZIONISM

5.00-6.30pm, HAMILTON HOUSE, STOKES CROFT, BRISTOL

PRICE: £2

Organised by the UWE Free-Palestine Society

A founder of the Palestine Solidarity Project in Beit Ummar (between Bethlehem and Hebron), Mousa was imprisoned from 1999-2003. During this time he became committed to the path of non-violence, has led opposition to the theft of his village's land by settlers and removed roadblocks which cut off their village from the road to Bethlehem. Mousa has paid a heavy price for his activism, his land has been confiscated, he has been shot, and held in “administrative detention” without being charged for over a year. He is an excellent speaker on non-violent resistance to the Israeli occupation in Palestine.
