A local group of young people are organising a fundraising and awareness event in Bristol to raise funds for three issues that they are passionate about in order to challenge the negative stereotypes concerning their age group. Their projects unique aim is to bring together families in a community that have been affected by the government cuts whilst raising awareness of animal cruelty and bullying. They are also expecting it to be an enjoyable day for all families, local groups and the elderly.

The 11 young people are pleased to be working with the The College Project in Bedminster (BS3 5JJ) who are providing the venue for their event. Various activities will be held all day including arts and craft stalls, pizza making, a bouncy castle, Santa’s grotto, circus skills workshop, bingo and lots of performances including a comedian. The event will last a majority of the day and will take place on the 16th of December from 2pm to 8pm. Everyone is welcome to enjoy the fantastic event.

The group are from a wide range of areas including Whitchurch, Bishopsworth, St Pauls, Bath and Weston and have come together and worked extremely well, considering the different backgrounds that everyone comes from, in order to support their shared cause
