Big Weekend Coming Up

It's cold outside, but luckily there is plenty to do this weekend. First of all we have the "Cut the Crap Collective" introducing a new radical discussion space, unashamedly founded on anarchist principles" -  featuring many a workshop & other events. Watch this space for venue announcement.

Then on Friday, at The White Hart, there is the first of two benefits for Bristol Defendant Solidarity. This one 100% punk, featuring among others Briz Ska-Punk Faves "Spanner" (Hopefully they will do their now notorious version of Salt 'n' Pepper's "Push It").

Meanwhile, on Saturday afternoon from 2pm at Kebele you can go and see something a bit more relaxing as BDS present their "Acoustic Winter Warmer" presenting the best of talent both this and that side of the Severn Bridge. Including Molly Samson & Clayton Blizzard.

I just got a message - police have just smashed their way in, arrested everyone for 'abstraction of electricity' - yeah right they switched the lights on - and are being taken the to Trinity Road police station as I write this.
Will they actually be charged?
Will charges stick?
Who cares when John Hirst and the Broadmead managers are involved.
The crooked police just do what they're told by the boys with the money, regardless of the law.

Welcome to the police state folks!
