this is a bristol indymedia story

Cardiff Migrant Solidairty will be kicking off 2013 with a series of sessions aimed at helping new volunteers to understand the asylum process, how we can help refugees and migrants living in South Wales and what we have found from the work so far.

Part one is on the 12th January and will look at the Asylum process of England and Wales and what can happen when people claim asylum. Also it could look at the role of the UKBA and how we can offer initial asylum information to help people know what to expect when going for interviews or signing at the Home Office.

The session will be two 1 and a half hour sessions, either side of an Iraqi recipe home made soup and vegan chocolates/chocolate cake!

All welcome (expect those who work against migrants, UKBA, police etc.)

Hope to see you there.

Please get in touch at cardiffsolidarity@riseup.net if you're thinking of coming or have any questions.
