Solidarity Fast for Palestinian Prisoners

Relatives of Palestinian Prisoners have called an international day of fasting on Monday 7th January.

Activists in Bristol will be joining the fast from 9:00 till 6:00 in a SOLIDARITY TENT outside Hamilton House, 80 Stokes Croft, Bristol, BS1 3QY.

At the time of writing, five Palestinian prisoners in Israeli jails are undertaking hunger strike against Administrative Detention (imprisonment without charge).

Ayman Sharawneh (37 years old) from Hebron started his hunger strike on 3/7/2012 .He will have been on hunger strike for 187 days by Monday 7th January, the longest hunger strike in history.

Samer Issawi (32 years old) from Jerusalem started his hunger strike on 1/8/2012. He will have been on hunger strike for 158 days by Monday 7th January.
