Long Walk to Freedom

Solidarity action for Palestinian Prisoners will take place in Bristol.

Palestine campaigners with a giant banner will be doing a walking tour of Bristol stopping for photo-opportunities at iconic locations throughout the city.

10.30 - Meet at the Suspension Bridge (Clifton side)

11.00 - Walk via the BBC on Whiteladies Road, Victoria Rooms, and Museum.

1.00 - Lunch at Cabot Tower (Brandon Hill) bring packed lunch and food to share

2.00 - Walk via Docks (Hotwells Road) opposite SS Great Britain.

Then onto the Cathedral & College Green, Peros Bridge & Harbour-side, Queens Square,

Broadmead Shopping Centre to finish at about 4.00pm.

Join us at any point, we should be very visible!

Pictures will be uploaded to Facebook sites including

“Activists around the world for Palestine”, “The Free Samer Issawi Campaign”,

“Gaza Youth Breaks Out” & “10 Million Signatures for a Palestinian State on September”.

Supporters around the world, including Gaza, are planning similar freedom walks at the same time.
