Mohamed Elhaddad had a great send-off from Bristol last Friday to join the Viva Palestimna convoy to Gaza.. Even the Evening Post covered it – see http://www.thisisbristol.co.uk/news/Dad-joins-mercy-mis....html.

At the time of writing, the convoy is in Fes, Morocco. You can check it's current location at http://www.vivapalestina.org/. Bristolians have already shown their generosity by donating money for Mohamed to take to Gaza. We are still raising money that we will pass to Mohamed before the convoy gets to Gaza.

The following Bristol-based activist groups declare their total support for the EDO Decommissioners and the actions that took place on Saturday 17th January 2009. ITT-EDO MDM had to be decommissioned to prevent them from producing further weaponry to be used to kill innocents. The action was taken in solidarity with the people of Palestine and the following groups stand in solidarity with the people of Palestine and with the EDO Decommissioners.

Late last year the Bristol IndyMedia (BIM) techies laboured long and hard to upgrade this site to a better operating system. There have been some bedding-in problems which have required more intense labour from the techies, but things are now settling down. It seems a good time to let people know about things that have changed. read full story / add a comment
