Wrong place, wrong time Ian Tomlinson was on his way home when he was viciously attacked and killed by riot police at the G20 demonstrations in London. Despite an attempted cover up and sickening lies by the authorities, this time they could not hide the truth. They beat and pushed a man to the floor and watched as he died of internal bleeding. Ian Tomlinson is the latest name in a long, long list and he will not be the last to die at the hands of violent cops. read full story / add a comment

There maybe people in Bristol who feel they need some kind of support after the events and protests around the G20 two and half weeks ago. This skill share would be well worth going to or read the info here and links to the activist trauma support website-or get together with people and give time to talk about emotions. We can all help each other be resilient and continue our resistance despite repression here in Bristol and elsewhere. Surviving police violence and growing resilience A skillshare facilitated by Wellbeing and Activist Trauma Support Sat 25 April, 1-6pm for people who witnessed the Ian Tomlinson attack. Sunday 26 April, 16pm for anybody attacked by the police or who was distressed by the events around the G20. at LARC London Action Resource Centre, Whitechapel E1 1ES read full story / add a comment
