We have just heard that The Bell Inn, St George, site of the recent Temporary Autonomous Artspace, was firebombed last night. Fortunately no one staying in the building was hurt but everyone is now leaving for their own safety. The police and Fire Brigade have been carrying out forensic tests at the pub today . While the appeal tried to raise it's annual £30 million, most people think the best way to help the troops is to bring them home and prosecute the politicians who sent them. While People take action acrsss the UK this week - Occupation of Didcot Coal Fired Power Station, and occupations of Mainshill (Lanarkshire) and Shipley (Derbyshire) Open Cast Mines, the Danish Prime Minister States that there will be no deal at the COP15 climate negotiations in December this year... 17 years on from Rio... and they still can't sort it out. Details of further Bristol based preparations... I've been researching and looking at UWE courses to take in Bristol in order to learn more about the facts of climate change / global warming / climate destabilisation and likely effects. Just looking at which course to take throws up some pretty scary stuff, this from UWE's Climate Change: Implications for the planning process course ......
