Improvements worsen for tenants
bristol / local government / announcement Thursday June 12, 2008 21:13 by Fed Up   image 1 image
Tenant participation in Bristol is a shambles. It is time tenants were informed about what has really been happening. For example, a Housing Management reorganisation by the Labour Party that has centralised the service and excluded loyal tenants, who have served their communities well for many years, from participating in the decision-making process. read full story / add a comment

Yet another planning application has been submitted for Westmoreland House. It appears that the scheme is for 186 flats and for some shops. Credit where it's due - once every few years the Evening Post does a decent exposee about how little of Council Tax payers money BCC can be bothered to spend on community facilities and what an appauling service Avon and Somerset police provide. Most of our Council Tax goes on mysterious secret 'service contracts' arranged between officers and their mates behind closed doors. read full story / add a comment
