Imagine 5000+ ordinary working people descending on Central London to
discuss the strategy and tactics of how we can build a better world.
Imagine over 200 packed meetings where you can learn about the
movement and share your own experiences. Imagine bustling bars, cafes
and parks filled with activists debating revoltionary politics.
Imagine meeting like-minded people from your area and becoming part of
the anti-capitalist fightback. Imagine the hardest decision you'll
have to make all weekend being whether to spend Saturday night
listening to live Palestinian music of resistance or watching films
about the Latin American Revolution. Sound like the highlight of your
year? Well book your ticket now for Marxism 2009!

There's a great event on at the Chapel Arts Centre in Bath, with regular Indymedia participator Nick Gill on the panel.

Date: 21 May 2009
Doors open: 7:00PM
Venue: Chapel Arts, Lower Borough Walls, Bath

To achieve results in any field of endeavour, I must have a clear vision. But vision alone is not enough. Unless I also take action, and enrol others to do so, all I have is a dream. So what are the key characteristics of a strong vision and/or an enrolling visionary leader?

A list of Bristol MPs and what they claim in expenses...in order. The most expensive MP is Labour's Kerry McCarthy and the cheapest is Doug Naysmith (also labour). Collectively in 2007/8 this lot cost us around £450,000 in expenses. Nice. read full story / add a comment
