I was faced with mixed feelings when I read about the tory MP David Davis's recent stance over the 42 days so called 'anti-terror' legislation. I have never really been a tory supporter, or event any fan of the existing political order, but suddenly it is good to see something that speaks though the political bullsh*t towards an issue that is real - the power of the state over us minions. (speaking personally....) read full story / add a comment

What a nice Easter present from the shysters at the Avon and Somerset Police Authority. As of Thursday poison is all that awaits those who trust Avon and Somerset police. Moira Hamblin and Colin Port have set up the most bloodthirsty PPP ever dreamed of in the UK and they even seem proud of their disgusting deeds. They will no doubt soon be heading into the shadows to evade prosecution for, at the very least, malfeasance, that is misconduct in public office, for allowing the engineers that provided the equipment used by the gestapo to round up Hitler's enemies to take over Avon and Somerset police. These evil idiots should be run out of town. read full story / add a comment

Teenage deaths as a result of gun and knife crime have become regular headlines in recent times, and as the media play upon fears about youth crime, New Labour come up with more and more draconian measures to take against the younth. But criminalising young people - and black and asian youth in particular - is part of the problem, not the solution to violence on our streets.

In this public forum we will attempt to uncover and discuss some of the reasons why young people are commiting crime or carrying weapons, and where our priorites should lie in tackling it

In May of last year, someone stood in the road and tried to stop a car, who had hit a Critical Mass cyclist off their bike, from driving away. For that he was arrested for obstructing the highway, thrown to the floor by his neck whilst handcuffed, and then - surprise surprise - also arrested for assaulting a police officer. read full story / add a comment
