Stop the Weapons before they reach DSEi
DSEi, the world’s largest arms fair, runs from Sept 8-11 at ExCeL in London. In order to display their weaponry, the exhibitors have to transport it to London’s East End in the previous week and weekend.

We’re calling on people up and down the country to stop this happening.

This morning the court granted Vestas PLC the possession order it sought for the factory where workers are currently in occupation fighting to save their jobs, and save the environment. There were suggestions about half an hour ago that bailiffs were already inside the building, which now seem to have been an attempt to demoralise the occupiers. However, this court decision means that the eviction is now imminent but the occupiers are not planning to give up. They now need all the support they can get. read full story / add a comment

Brian Haw - day 2,970 of his magnificent protest!

Here are 13 photos (copyleft) of Brian Haw's continuing presence outside the Houses of Parliament.
These are good to see - 'Well done Brian'
While up at the G20, from Bristol, earlier this year the cops wouldn't allow me to walk from Trafalgar Square to Parliament Square where I wanted to leave my placard. So I got the bus instead and still visited Brian.
Well done again Brian for bringing SHAME TO ALL BRITISH MPs constantly ;-) read full story / add a comment
