It looks like Bristol City Council will be given the opportunity to charge us for any additional rubbish that we can't fit into our bins. Why should we pay more money to Bristol City Council, we pay enough Council Tax already. This is yet another example of a labour Stealth Tax and a good example of all of ours civil liberties being infringed upon. FIGHT BACK and REFUSE to pay. All I will do is take any additional rubbish that won't fit in my bin and dump it somewhere that I know the council will collect from This will cost me nothing. I will of course remenber to take out anything that has my name and address on it so that i can't be traced. read full story / add a comment

Do YOU have something to say about Bristol, good, bad and a little bit different? Then join the Bristle Collective and start making yourself heard! read full story / add a comment

Once upon a time…before the anti-globalisation & anti-capitalist movements of the late-90’s and ‘summit trashing’, before Reclaim the Streets, before the emergent social centre network, before the summer of love & rave & free parties, before the direct action & anti-roads movements of the late-80’s onwards, before the miners strike, before New Labour was a dream, before Class War, but after the original wave of punk rock in 1976/7…there was Anarcho-Punk. read full story / add a comment

A number of people have been asking for Bristle magazine, issue 16, in shops etc. This is partly our fault as we had advised that it would be out in March. In fact our aim had been to produce the mag in time for the Bristle benefit in Bath on March 19th (which raised about £250), and for the anti-war March 20th actions. read full story / add a comment
