Despite the departure of Blair, Bush (very soon) and many other war mongerers across the globe the illeagal occupations of Iraq and Afghanistan continue, the US is allowed to pursue its aggresive foreign policy regardless of international law. As most of us now accept the 'War on Terror' and the US's pursuit of world dominance makes the world a more unstable and unsafe place. Since the end of the second world war the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO) has been used to drive through US aggression with military bases on all continents and the promotion of nuclear prolifieration. 2009 is NATO's 60th Birthday and they are holding a conference In Strasbourg April 2-5th. Anti-war groups across Europe have joined together to call an international mobilisation against NATO and the spread of war. read full story / add a comment
