As part of celebrating the 50 year anniversary of the Cuban Revolution this year Cuba Solidarity Campaign organised a tour of Cuban films - see www.Cuba50.org. The local showing for Bristol/Bath is'Mauricio's Diary', director Manuel Perez 2006, at The Little Theatre Cinema, St Michaels Place, Bath BA1 1SF on 8th Oct at 10.30am and 8.20pm. This is a particularly interesting film set against the background of the 'special period' and the real-life difficulties Cuban people faced.

We have arranged a public meeting for Wednesday 17th June, in Batheaston Methodist Hall in Northend (just past Wayfield Gardens, on the right), from 7.30pm-9.30pm. Please come along and encourage others to attend in order to find out what you can do to stop the scheme going ahead.
