A man arrested on suspicion of the arson of the Bathampton mast fire has been released with no further action taken against him.

The man had been arrested on Friday as part of Avon and Somerset Police’s investigation into the fire at the mast in January 2013.

He was interviewed about the incident and subsequently released.

The investigation continues this week and police continue to appeal to the community to come forward if they have information about the fire or anyone they believe to be involved.
