In the lead up to Refugee Week, Queercafe presents a documentary highlighting the issues for LGBTQ people seeking asylum.
Set in Canada, the film documents the lives of five asylum seekers fleeing the homophobic violence of their home countries. Spanning the globe, these stories come from Jamaica, Egypt, Lebanon, and other parts of the world demonstrating the struggles that face LGBT individuals due to the chance of birth.
